I feel like so much has happened this week that this could be a rambling blog, but I really want to talk about my FITBIT and reiterate last weeks topic of go with what works for you.
So the FITBIT...LOVE IT!! It tells me how many calories I burn in a day and how many I can eat if I want to be at 130 by March 15th. I chose the medium challenge so it subtracts 500 calories a day that I cannot eat. I am still trying to get used to it and having horrible ambiguity every time I go to eat.
So lets go like this....
Likes:
1. I can track how many calories I burn and how many steps I take everyday.
2. It has a large food diary so I haven't not been able to find something yet.
3. I can track how much water I drink (I only drink water and one coffee a day) Today I had over 100 ounces of water.
Dislikes:
When I burn calories I am suppose to eat more!! No!! lol So today I am supposed to eat my normal 1200 calories plus the 2200 I burned at the gym and work. When I said my job is physical I meant it! So I made a very bad decision today and had a small blizzard from dairy queen with 2 girls at work. I came home and ate a bowl of cheerios as a snack and the things says I still need to eat 250 more calories. With WW eating the activity points wasnt a must and I almost never ate them.
Fun Fact: I took over 17000 steps today!!
So I love the thing it is teaching me alot of things. I am going to use it this whole next week and see what happens, according to it I should lose 1 pound a week. If I keep getting confused and discouraged I will still use it to help see my activity, water, etc but go back to what I know and worked for me, counting points.
Wins: Worked out 5 days last week burning at least 500 calories at each workout
Opps: set a goal to run 5.5 miles on Sunday, well I was hungover, so instead I ran it on Monday. Another Opp: Ive been focusing too much on running (training for a 10k) and need to get more weights in. Ive went from 3 days of weights to 2 days, need to get back to 3.
Goal: Get a good workout in Saturday after work, Ill be taking Friday off. My fiance and I both have the day off but lots to do, grocery shopping, buying hardwood floors for downstairs, Tux fitting for wedding and dinner with future in laws. So I will be at 5 days again as long as I go Saturday.
Weight 135...no change...maybe my body is happy here? Ive been here for a few months now, but Ill take it!
What motivated me: realizing how easy running is getting, but its time to work on time and incline...I'm scared.
