Randee: Week 3

Eating Plan: Weight Watchers Points Plus

Goal: Lose 50 Pounds
Weekly Weight Loss: -2.6 pounds
Total Weight Loss: -2.1 pounds

Exercise Goals: 4 times a week for at least 30 minutes each time
Weekly Exercise: 5 workouts. 4x 45 minutes, 1 x 30 minutes

Yahoo!! A good week! This past week went well for me. I lost weight even with a family birthday party involving a meal out to eat and birthday cake!! Now, while I blog on Tuesdays, my weigh-ins are on Fridays, so sometimes my comments may seem a week behind!!  This blog has been quite a motivator for me.  There are days I do not want to work out and I want to just eat whatever. But then I remember that I have to blog about it. So I pick up some weights and a glass of water. I’ve also been encouraged by all the supportive comments from friends!
This week, I tried some different work outs. My elliptical had some technical difficulties so I had to come up with some other plans. I got two of the Biggest Loser work out DVD’s and I did those most of the week. They are good videos that show you how to do the videos at your fitness level. It is also a nice change to see actual normal people working out in a video and not just people who are already in incredible shape!! These people actually sweat and everything!
My challenges for this week are coming up with a wider variety of healthy meals that the whole family can enjoy. I am not a short order cook so I have to make one meal for all of us. I also had a whole weekend of my daughter’s birthday extravaganza and the super bowl. But we shall see that this week holds. Here’s to another good week!!
